John has been in financial services for over 37 years & established the The Mortgage Shop in 1991.
We take great pride in offering a friendly family service built on trust & integrity.

This still is as true as ever with each client having their own personal advisor to follow the case through to completion.
John specialises in Commercial & Business finance – he is married to Marina & has three sons & 3 young grandchildren.
Hobbies are :Travel , Golf , Fishing & Gardening & socialising.

Marina is John’s wife and joined the business when the youngest of their three sons started school. Prior to this she was a hospital manager in the NHS and has used this experience to manage The Mortgage Shop’s Administration & customer services department .
Marina particularly enjoys travel and walking in the countryside & spending time with their three young grandchildren.

Rob is John and Marina’s eldest son and has worked in the family business since leaving University. He has now over 15 years of experience in Financial Services specialising in Buy to Let Portfolios, Residential mortgages and Bridging Finance. Rob works extremely hard for his clients has been named in “The Times” vouched for top advisers in the UK list.
In his spare time Rob enjoys golf, sport and travel and where possibly tries to combine all three when his three young children allow him !

Christina has worked in financial services for over 35 years and has indeed been a member of the team at The Mortgage Shop since it was founded in 1991. She is the sister of the Practice Principle John Norris & is responsible for Mortgage & Protection advice.
